- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and stir.
- Add sugar, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
