A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish with perfectly cooked penne and a creamy cheese sauce.
Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add penne pasta and cook for 10 minutes or until al dente.
- Drain excess water, leaving about 1/4 cup in the pot.
- Add butter, milk, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Stir over low heat until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
- Serve immediately.

- Use fresh cheese for best results.
- Adjust milk quantity for desired sauce thickness.
