Description
A delicious and easy-to-make creamy Cajun shrimp pasta dish with a spicy kick.
Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the pan. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Serve with garlic bread.
