Description

A delicious and easy-to-make creamy Cajun shrimp pasta dish with a spicy kick.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the pan. Toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
