Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and cook until browned and fully cooked (5-6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add grated parmesan cheese and stir until smooth.
  6. Return cooked chicken to the skillet. Add drained pasta and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
