Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu (14 oz)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions
- Press tofu for 20 minutes to remove excess water.
- Cut tofu into bite-sized nuggets.
- Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour plant-based milk into another bowl.
- Dip each tofu nugget into the flour mixture, then milk, then breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry nuggets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, bake nuggets at 400°F for 10 minutes after frying.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
- Double the recipe for larger servings.
