Description

Delicious crispy tofu nuggets that are perfect for a snack or meal. Easy to make and full of flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block firm tofu (14 oz)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Press tofu for 20 minutes to remove excess water.
  2. Cut tofu into bite-sized nuggets.
  3. Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour plant-based milk into another bowl.
  5. Dip each tofu nugget into the flour mixture, then milk, then breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry nuggets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, bake nuggets at 400°F for 10 minutes after frying.
  • Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
